Nicolas Portal

Nicolas Portal ( born April 23, 1979 in Auch, France ) is a former French cyclist.

Career

In 2001, he rode as a stagiaire at AG2R and has attention to get a professional contract there. Portal 2004 could land a stage win in the Dauphiné Libéré. From 2006 to 2009 he drove for the Spanish ProTour team Caisse d' Epargne. Since 2010 he is at the service of Sky Professional Cycling Team. Portal took six times so far participated in the Tour de France. Continuously zwischen 2003 and 2008.

End of the 2010 season, he finished his career as a professional cyclist from 2011 and athletic director at Sky Professional Cycling Team.
