Nicolas Psaume

Nicolas Psaume (* 1518 in Chaumont -sur -Aire, Duchy of Bar, now Meuse; † August 10, 1575 in Verdun ) was from 1548 to 1575 Bishop of Verdun and in this function participants of the Council of Trent. He had been the Premonstratensian monk before his appointment as bishop, and is considered one of the major French bishops of the 16th century.
