Nicole Davis

Nicole Marie Davis ( born April 24, 1982 in Stockton, California) is an American volleyball player. She won in 2008 and 2012, two Olympic silver medals.

Career

Davis played in their youth softball first, before her parents took her to the martial arts, and she earned a black belt in karate. During her time at the Lincoln High School in Stockton, they finally came to volleyball. While she studied Politics at the University of Southern California, she played from 2000 to 2003 as a Liberal to the team of USC Trojans. In the 2004/05 season, Davis was in the Polish league at PTPS Pila. In 2005 she debuted in the U.S. national team, with whom she won the NORCECA Championship in the same year. Reached in 2006, the U.S. ranked ninth in the World Championships. Davis then moved to Istanbul at Fenerbahçe SK and played there as a first foreign Liberation in the Turkish league. In 2007, she was with the U.S. second in the continental championship and third in the World Cup. The following year she took part in the Olympic Games, in which the Americans were subject only in the final against Brazil and won silver. 2009 Davis went to China to Guangdong Hengda. A year later she moved to the Azerbaijani club Lokomotiv Baku. International 2010 and 2011 she won the Grand Prix. 2011 also managed the U.S. team to the victory at the NORCECA Championship and second place in the World Cup. In the same year the Liberation came in the Italian league to Rebecchi Piacenza. In 2012 she played after the third Grand Prix win in a row at the Olympic tournament in London, the United States graduating with the silver medal again after re- final defeat against Brazil. In December 2012, Davis moved to Dresdner SC in the German Bundesliga and was runner-up. After the season, Davis opted for a change of club Dinamo Bucharest.
