Nicole Parker

Nicole Frances Parker ( born February 21, 1978 in Irvine, California) is an American actress and musical actress who is best known for her work in sketches of the FOX comedy show MADtv.

Life

In her hometown, she worked at South Coast Repertory and Laguna Playhouse. She studied theater and voice at Indiana University, where he played in an improvisational group with. After college, Parker worked at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and later in Chicago at the Improv stage play The Second City. In addition, Nicole and some university friends founded a theater group in New York called Water Well Productions. Then Parker pulled out two years after Amsterdam, where she experiences in comedy shows collected again.

2003 Nicole Parker appeared as a performer for the first time on MADtv. As Parker 2007 its fifth season took on MADtv, she was the one for the actress Stephnie Weir, the longest belonged to the team of MADtv. It embodies, since 2008, more commonly in parody some celebrities, such as in the film Meet the Spartans, where she was seen as Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Ellen DeGeneres and Paula Abdul. In 2009, she officially climbed out from the team of MADtv in order to focus on her Broadway career.

2004 Parker was nominated for a Jeff Award for her role in People vs.. Friar Laurence, The Man Who Killed Romeo and Juliet. From July 2006 to January 2007 she was seen in the comedy musical Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me on January 16, 2009, Parker took on the role of Elpaba in the Broadway musical Wicked - The witches of Oz. They played there until 19 July 2009 and was replaced by Dee Roscioli.
