Nicole Riner

Nicole Riner ( born June 13, 1990 in Ennetburgen ) is a former Swiss tennis player.

Career

Nicole Riner won the 2004 their first international tennis tournaments on the European Junior Tour 16 & U. Among other things, she won in Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. In the summer of 2005, she was the 5th time Swiss champion. In the same year she managed to win at the ITF U18 tournament in Switzerland. A year later, she was summoned for the Fed Cup team in Switzerland. Against Japan, she played for the first time against a player in the Top 100 and lost.

2006-2007

In the summer of 2006, she moved in with the tennis academy of Eric van Harpen. From Swiss Tennis she was admitted after the National Training Centre. On September 25, 2006, she was listed for the first time on the WTA rankings. In autumn 2006 she was awarded a wildcard for qualifying for the Zurich Open.
