Nicolet-Yamaska Regional County Municipality
Nicolet - Yamaska Regional County Municipality is a (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is located in the administrative region Centre-du -Québec and consists of 16 subordinate administrative units (a city, eleven municipalities and four Sprengel ). The MRC was established on 1 January 1982. The main town is Nicolet. The population is 22,725 and the area of 1005.2 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 22.6 inhabitants per km ².
