Nida Senff

Nida Senff, real name Dina Willemina Jacoba Senff ( born April 3, 1920 in Rotterdam, † 27 June 1995 Amsterdam ) was a Dutch swimmer.

At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 she was before her compatriot Rie Mastenbroek Olympic champion over 100 m backstroke, although she had to swim a few meters due to the missed stop at the turn. They also benefited from the non- nomination of the Olympic champion from 1932 Eleanor Holm, who was ruled out on the crossing from the USA to Germany from their team. In 1983, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the international swimming sport.
