Nie Haisheng

Never Haisheng (Chinese聂海胜/聂海胜, Pinyin never Hǎishèng; born October 13, 1964 in Zaoyang, Hubei Province, China) is a Chinese Taikonaut.

Never Haisheng is the son of poor peasants and grew up with six older sisters and a younger brother on a farm in the village of Zaoyang on. In 1978, his father died. As the oldest man in the 14 -year-old was now responsible for the care of the family. Never had to first leave school in order to take care of the family. With the support of his teacher, he again took part in school education and finished the college with good grades.

China began in 1996 for the first time to seek spaceman among the fighter planes of his country. The competition was held under the strictest secrecy. Yang was one of 60 candidates who came out of the approximately 1,500 applicants shortlisted. In January 1998, he was selected along with 13 other pilots and graduated in 1999 a training program for taikonauts.

Following the mission, Shenzhou 5, the Taikonautenkorps was divided into seven groups. Each two-man group was trained and checked. The order was determined according to their performance ( the best training had the best chance to be able to fly with Shenzhou 6). The whole selection process was also already the training. Then three groups were selected from the seven groups that were especially prepared for the mission.

Never launched on 12 October 2005 with Shenzhou 6 in space. This mission was the second manned space flight and the first flight of China Haisheng Nie. He was already among the three finalists in the selection for Shenzhou 5 His partner in the Shenzhou -6 mission was Fei Junlong.

When flight of Shenzhou 10 in June 2013 was never commander. With two space flights and more than 19 days in space Never has now experienced the Chinese astronauts.
