Nieuwe Maas

The Nieuwe Maas ( New Meuse ) is an approximately 24 km long section of the main stream of the Rhine delta. The name derives from the former course of the River Meuse. The Bayou arises in Slikkerveer by the union of the two main arms of the Rhine River delta in the Netherlands, the Lek and Noord of. History
