Nigel Terry
Nigel Terry ( born August 15, 1945 in Bristol ) is a British actor.
Nigel Terry began his career after studying acting at Oxford and his home city of Bristol, and is still one of the most respected stage actors England. Terry made his film debut in 1968 on the side of Peter O'Toole and Katharine Hepburn in The Lion in Winter. His most famous film role came in 1981, directed by John Boorman as King Arthur in Excalibur. This was only his second film role after The Lion in Winter. Nigel Terry began in the 1980's a fruitful collaboration with the British director Derek Jarman, which was only terminated by the early death of the director.
