Nigella Saunders

Nigella Jekyll Saunders (born 7 December 1979) is a badminton player from Jamaica.

Career

At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Nigella Saunders took part in the badminton singles tournament. In the first round she defeated it against Mia Audina from the Netherlands with 0:2 sets. She was and is so far the only Olympic athlete in Jamaica's badminton.

In 1999, she won two titles at the Puerto Rico International. In 2001, she won all three possible titles for the Carebaco Championships. In the Pan Games 2003 she won the women's singles competition and was third in the Mixed with Charles Pyne.

National championship, she managed from 2005 to 2009 respectively to single and double title win in the years ( there with Alya Lewis).
