Nigeria national basketball team

The Nigerian national basketball team of the gentlemen representing Nigeria at international matches or friendlies. Since the mid- 1990s, the team is one of the most successful national teams in Africa.

The successes of the Nigerian national team based on targeted recruiting, American college and professional basketball player with Nigerian descent. With the successful qualification for the 2012 Olympics at the tournament in Caracas nine players were involved, were born in the United States.
