Nightflight to Venus

Nightflight to Venus is the title of the third album of pop group Boney M.

History

Already with the previous album, Love for Sale producer Frank Farian had led his creation Boney M. to first place in the German album charts. The success of this album was still increased by addition of new music styles with Nightflight to Venus. After the soundtrack of Saturday Night Fever the Bee Gees, the album was the most successful pop album of the year 1978 in Germany. The singles such achieved the highest chart positions and sales figures throughout Europe. Nightflight to Venus was the only album by Boney M., which was also in the U.S. in the album charts. It reached number 134

Title list

The pieces were re-cut by Farian over again. Nightflight to Venus, which merges seamlessly with Rasputin, at least four different lengths, also can vary the written information from the reality as well as the details of the case with that of the labels need not coincide at different pressures. In the first pressing, it was 7:13 long, later 5:55, then 5:15 and 4:46 is the most common version.
