Nighthawk (DC Comics)

Nighthawk (English Night Hawk ) is the title of a series of Western comics of the U.S. publisher DC Comics published in irregular succession since 1948.

The Nighthawk comic books are about the adventures of a cowboy named Hannibal Hawkes of experienced together with his friend Jim Peyton all sorts of the usual Western genre adventure. The first story of the series appeared in Western Comics # 5 by 1948. Published until the 1980s Nighthawk stories in various Western titles of the publisher. The series ended with Nighthawks murder by his arch-nemesis Matilda Roderic.
