Nijat Mammadov

Nicat Məmmədov (or Nidjat Mamedov; born April 2, 1985 in Nakhchivan City ) is an Azerbaijani chess player.

In 1999 he was in the Greek Litochoro U14 European Champion (before Vugar Gashimov, Ferenc Berkes and Artyom Timofeev ). With the Azerbaijani national team he participated at the 2000 Chess Olympiad in Istanbul. In 2002 he won the Azerbaijan U18 Championship in Baku.
