Niklas Sandberg

Niklas Magnus Sandberg ( born September 3, 1978 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish football player.

Career

Sandberg made ​​his debut in 1995 for Västerhaninge IF in Division 2, at the time the third highest Swedish league. Then you became aware of him when AIK Solna and signed him. There he played mainly in the youth department, but came to two inserts in the Allsvenskan, before he was released to IK Sirius in 1998. In the Norrettan, the second- highest division, he came regularly used. In 2000 he played briefly for Helsingborgs IF league football again, but moved in 2001 to the second-rate FC Café Opera back to Stockholm. Here he was three years starting players and returned in 2004 to AIK Solna in the premier league back. Although he got off with the club in the Superettan, the immediate revival, however, was done.

In May 2007 he left Sweden and moved to CFR Cluj in the Romanian League 1 where he was the first Swedish player in the history of the league. Since July 2008, he plays in the Norwegian first division side Stabæk IF.

Sandberg made ​​his debut on 18 January 2007 during a South American tour in the Swedish national team. However, the game against Ecuador was lost with 1:2.
