Niko Bungert

Niko Bungert ( born October 24, 1986 in Bochum ) is a German football player.

Career

Clubs

Bungert began his career in 1990 at VfB Günnigfeld. From 1996 to 2004 he played for the SG Wattenscheid 09 and in 2004 was committed by FC Schalke 04. In 2005, he signed a professional contract there. For the 2006/07 season he was loaned to second division side Kickers Offenbach, for which he received his first professional assignments. In the second round he fought his way to a starting place and was committed by the Kickers Offenbach. For the season 2008/ 09 he moved to 1 FSV Mainz 05, in which he signed a two-year contract. In his first season he went with the first FSV Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga.

National

Bungert came for various junior national teams to use. With the German U-19 national team, he took in 2005 at the U -19 European part and for the German U- 21 team, he completed three games, but was not in the squad for the U- 21 Championship 2009.
