Nikolai Goc

Nikolai Goc ( born June 17, 1986 in Calw ) is a German professional ice hockey player who plays for the Adler Mannheim of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga for the 2010/11 season.

Nikolai Goc is the younger brother of playing in the National Hockey League for the Florida Panthers Marcel Goc and is under contract with the Schwenningen Wild Wings Sascha Goc.

Career

Goc started his career with the ESG Esslingen and moved in summer 2002 to the Schwenningen Wild Wings, where he made 17 years ago his first game in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. However, the links Sagittarius completed no further DEL game and joined the 2003/04 season the young eagles Mannheim, with whom he played in the German junior league. After the time was 18 years old at the eagles convince the defender opted for a contract offer from the EHC Freiburg and in 2004 moved to Freiburg. There Goc ran to a total of two years for the Wolves and played in the meantime and for the junior team of the EHC in the junior league.

For 2005/ 06 the defender was obliged by the Hannover Scorpions of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. The Scorpions Nikolai Goc met his brother, Sascha Goc, who had recently also moved from the eagles from Mannheim to Hannover. The defender was further equipped with a mining license and is therefore eligible to play for the REV Bremerhaven from the 2nd Bundesliga. In the four years that he played in Hannover, Goc was used in the main round 122 times and was able to achieve 16 points scorer. In addition, he scored another four points scorer in 24 play-off games. In the season 2010/2011 he then moved on to the Adler Mannheim.

Nikolai Goc was also in the season 2009/10 German champion with the Hannover Scorpions.

Internationally

Goc took with the German national team at the Germany Cup 2008 and the 2009 World Championships in part.
