Nikolai Tanayev

Nikolai Timofejewitsch Tanajew ( Kyrgyz / Russian Николай Тимофеевич Танаев, scientific transliteration Nikolaj Timofeevic Tanaev; born November 5, 1945 in Mikhailovka, Province of Penza, Soviet Union) was from 2002 to 2005 under Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan President Askar Akayev. He is an ethnic Russian.

Tanajew graduated in 1969 as a civil engineer at the main irrigation / drainage design institute in Djambul, today Taras (Kazakhstan ) from, in this direction, he worked for many years. From 1979 to 1984 he was on the city council from Osh ( Kyrgyzstan ), he was Deputy Prime Minister in 2001. Following the resignation of Kurmanbek Bakiyev on 22 May 2002, he was initially managing, then the official prime minister. On 24 March 2005, he resigned in the wake of the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan 2005 ( Tulip Revolution ) back.
