Nikolaus Glockendon

Nicholas Glockendon (c. 1490/95, † 1533/34 ) was illuminators in Nuremberg.

Life

Glockendon Nicholas, son of also acting as an illuminator Georg Glockendon († 1514), created his masterpieces in the years 1522-1532 from his earlier career time an illustrated prayer book (10 × 7 cm) is known.; The book includes 17 full-page miniatures and numerous trim with drolleries, which have no substantive reference to the text or main iconographic thumbnails Albrecht Dürer and his circle are required.
