Nil Lara

Nil Lara ( born 1964 in Newark, New Jersey ) is an American musician.

As the son of Cuban immigrants, he spent much of his youth in Venezuela, where came into contact with the Venezuelan music. He learned Cuatro and guitar playing. While he studied at the University of Florida, he began his Cuban roots and Cuban music to discover. He learned to play the Tres.

His music combines Lara North and Central American influences.
