Niles is a municipality ( with a status of "Village" ) in Cook County in the U.S. state of Illinois. In 2010, Niles had 29,803 inhabitants.

Geography

Niles is located in the northwest suburb of Chicago area on the northern arm of the Chicago River. The town is located at 42 ° 01'40 " north latitude and 87 ° 48'36 " west longitude and extending over 15.15 km ². Niles is in equal parts in the Niles Township and the Maine Township.
