Nilgiri tea

Nilgiri is a black tea that is grown in the Nilgiris in the south west of India at altitudes of 800-2000 meters. It is mostly used for tea blends. The flavor is similar to the Ceylon tea. Great customer was formerly the Soviet Union, otherwise the variety plays no major role on the world market.
