Nina Burger

Nina Burger (born 27 December 1987 Tulln an der Donau) is an Austrian football player who is under contract with SV Neulengbach.

Life

Career

Clubs

Burger plays since August 25, 1995 at their youth club SV Hausleiten. As of 3 September 2001, it played at SV Langenrohr. In 2003, she was with SV Langenrohr champion in the northeast - division and played from the 2003/04 season in the 2nd Division East. Since July 6, 2005 Burger is at SV Neulengbach in the OFB Frauen Bundesliga under contract.

Since then she plays with Neulengbach, it was every season champion, six time top scorer (2006-2012) and was in 2012 voted the Player of the Year. From 2012 Nina Burger took over the role as captain of Kathrin Entner.

In the 2013/14 season she succeeded with Neulengbach by two victories against GSK Konak Belediyesi the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

National

Nina Burger played in the U-19 national team. In the senior team she made her debut on 1 September 2005 at a 1:4 defeat against England in qualifying for the World Cup 2007. Played you from the beginning and was replaced in the 82nd minute. The first goals they scored three weeks later in their second game with a brace against Hungary.
