Nine from Little Rock

Nine from Little Rock is an American documentary from the year 1964.

Action

The film portrays the nine African-American students who went in 1957 as the first black student after desegregation of the Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. Known as Little Rock Nine students ( Ernest Green, Thomas Jefferson, Elizabeth Eckford, Thelma Mothershed Wair, Terrence Roberts, Carlotta Walls Lanier, Minnijean Brown Trickey, Gloria Ray Karlmak and Melba Beals Pattilo ) recount the events when soldiers their transition had to protect the school. They report on their experiences and their hopes.
