Ningbo-Museum

The Ningbo Museum (Chinese宁波 博物馆/宁波 博物馆, Pinyin Ningbo bówùguǎn ) is located in the town of Yinzhou District of Ningbo City and is also called Yinzhou Museum. Its architect is the Pritzker Prize winner Wang Shu and all permanent exhibitions and admission is free.

Permanent exhibitions

  • Exhibition of the history of Ningbo: This department is regarded as the core of the whole museum and houses a collection of the Neolithic Hemudu culture to the colonization of the late 19th century. To establish the time gone again, different models are used. This includes methods of producing celadon held to be the best fatigue locally.
  • Exhibition of folklore from Ningbo: arts and craft items will be the hero of this event. On willkommenendsten is the exquisite bridal bed, which was very time consuming and would be kept as a thousand -day wood carving.
  • Gallery of Bambusschnitzerei: Most of the exhibits were Acquired by Mr. Qin Kangxiang and were blessed by his son.
