Nino Schurter

Nino Schurter ( born May 13, 1986 in Tersnaus ) is a Swiss mountain bikers.

Nino Schurter took in all junior categories, the Swiss champion in mountain biking: 2002 at the Cadets, at the 2004 Junior, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 at the espoir ( U23 ). At the World Championships he won a silver medal in 2003, the 2004 title in the juniors. The Swiss Sports Aid Foundation drew Schurter out as a junior athlete of the year 2004. A year later he was - after he had been tied back in the lead by a defect - at the Mountain Bike World Championships 2005 in Livigno in the U23 category of third parties.

After another victory at the Swiss Championships and the European Championship title and the overall World Cup in the U23 category is Schurter took the 2006 World Champion title espoir.
