Nino Vingelli

Nino Vingelli ( born June 4, 1912 in Naples, † March 26, 2003 in Rome ) was an Italian actor.

Life

Prior to his acting career Vingeli was a student of economic institute in his native city of Naples; soon, however, he was drawn to the stage, where he gained his first experience in revues and Dialketkomödien. His film career began in 1941 with a role in maritime next I Amedeo Nazzari. After the war he established himself with sober, set, acting style as a character actor in comedy as well as dramatic in parts; but he also was able to give distinctive and rich in detail peasants, thugs, workers, thugs, gangsters and sleazy lawyers face and voice. Among his over 130 roles especially some in the late 1950s stand out: that of the " Pizzaccio " in Where the hot wind blows from 1959, the energetic " Gennaro " in The Challenge ( for this role, he was awarded a Silver Ribbon for Best Supporting Actor ) from the previous year and its interpretation in in St. Pauli is the hell is going on. He often presented inhabitants of his native town is, some without scruples, some even adorable. Sometimes he was wasted in small roles to its potential. His engagements with television were less numerous. From the mid- 1980s, he was due to age only rarely seen.
