Nippes Department
Nippes is a department on the Tiburon Peninsula in Haiti. Its capital is Miragoâne. It is mainly in the Gulf of Gonâve on the Tibouran peninsula ( northern coast ).
History
The department of Nippes was created in 2003, when the arrondissements Miragoâne, Anse -à- Veau and Baradères by the Department Grand Anse and Nippes renounced established as a new department. This makes it the youngest of ten Haitian departments.

- Arrondissement de Barradères ( 2 communities ): Barradères ( in the far west of the Dept. )
