The Nippon Paper Cranes (Japanese日本製紙 クレインズNippon Seishi Kureinzu ) are a Japanese ice hockey team based in Kushiro, which currently plays in the Asia League Ice Hockey.

The club was founded in 1949 as JUJO Papaer Kushiro Ice Hockey Club, 1994, the name was changed to Nippon Paper Cranes than themselves heard JUJO papaer and Sanyo Kokusaku Pulp with the support of the Nippon Paper Industries, the Group which club since then, merged.

The Paper Cranes won in 2004 the first season of the Asia League Ice Hockey, in the next two years could each win the regular season, the play-off final one but failed twice Kokudo Ice Hockey Team (now Seibu Prince Rabbits ). 2006 could also be obtained for the first time in club history, the Japanese championship.
