C80 in Thailand

The Nissan C80 was a truck, Nissan produced from 1966 as a supplement above the Nissan Caball and below the Nissan 680 to 1976. He was replaced then by the new Nissan Nissan Caball Caball # C340 1976-1982.

Model History

With the C80 with 2.5-4.5 ton payload Nissan filled the gap between the Caball (up to 2 tons ) and 680 (from 5 tons payload ). In the C80 it was a front handlebar with a mounted under the seats underfloor engine. The design matched the Caball C240, but it gave the C80 in contrast to Caball only as a chassis with cab for bodies and flatbed. In the Export of C80 was partially marketed as Caball.

When driving the Nissan gasoline engine H30, which was installed in the Nissan President acted, and the Nissan SD33 diesel engine. The power transmission was performed by propshaft to the rear axle via a synchronized four -speed manual transmission, optional with 5 forward gears.
