In October 2010, the series Pathfinder ( R51 ), Micra (K12 ) and Navara ( D40 ) were recalled because there was a possibility that in the relay unit, which is responsible for the engine control unit, a relay fails. Thus, the power supply of the controller would fail and the engine can also proceed under driving conditions.

In comparison, the hybrid drive reaches 250 hp and 243 Nm of torque to 260 hp and 240 Nm of torque. Saves the energy of the electric motor in a lithium ion secondary battery, which is installed under the 3.Sitzreihe without detriment to charge or passenger compartment.
