Development

Served as a basis the known aluminum monocoque chassis of two R86V each, and, R87E, which originally came from March. It was adapted by Nismo on the new 3.0-liter V8 engine ( VRH30 ) with twin turbochargers, which should replace the same displacement V8 previously used and VEJ30 mentioned. The VRH30 engine was developed from its predecessor out and differed from that mechanically only by a different crankshaft. In addition, the wheelbase has been extended and an aerodynamically sophisticated body attached, which was newly developed by Nismo.
