Nissan Rogue

The Nissan Rogue is a car model of the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan, which is available exclusively in North America and Canada. It is a compact SUV, which was unveiled in January 2007 at the North American International Auto Show. The Rogue is based on Nissan's C- platform, which is used, among other things, the Nissan Sentra. The design is based on both the larger Nissan Murano, and on the smaller Nissan Qashqai.

The Nissan Rogue is powered exclusively by a 2.5 - liter petrol engine with 125 kW ( 170 hp). The power is transmitted in the basic version through a continuously variable Xtronic CVT automatic transmission to the front wheels; but is also an optional all-wheel drive available. This recognizes different driving situations and distributed accordingly, the force between the front and rear axle. Thus, during acceleration, the force for better traction distributed 50-50 percent, at normal driving only the front wheels are driven and in curves, the force distribution is variable.

As extras include the basic version of S and the higher- SL- equipment. As standard, the Rogue as S with ABS, VSC, traction control, active head restraints and six airbags, air conditioning, electric windows and CD radio is equipped. The SL version is also equipped with 17- inch alloy wheels, roof rails, tinted rear windows and a power driver seat. For an additional charge fog lights, a Bose sound system with CD changer, shift paddles on the steering wheel, Bluetooth handsfree, heated leather seats, a sunroof, xenon headlights and a keyless entry system are available.
