Nive
The Nive de Béhérobie in Saint -Jean -Pied -de-Port
The Nive, basque Errobi, is a river that runs mainly in France in the department of Pyrénées- Atlantiques in the Aquitaine region. Your source Bach Harpéko erreka rises in the Pyrenees, on the northwest flank of the summit Mandi - Zar ( 1323 m ), just in Spanish territory, in the autonomous province of Navarra. She reached in the municipality of Estérençuby French territory and shortly thereafter called Nive de Béhérobie here. In Saint -Jean -Pied- de-Port, it takes on the tributaries Laurhibar and Nive d' Arnéguy and called from here only Nive. You drained generally northwest through the French Basque country and flows for a total length of 80 kilometers in the center of Bayonne as a left tributary of the Adour in, just before its mouth in the Atlantic Ocean.
