Niyazi

Knyaz Hacıbəyov ( alternative spelling Azerbaijani Knyaz Hacıbäyov, called Maestro Niyazi; * 1912, † 1984) was an Azerbaijani conductor. He was famous beyond the borders of Azerbaijan addition.

He conducted the first performances of works (opera, ballet and symphony ) of many famous Azerbaijani composers, such Üzeyir Hacıbəyov, Müslüm Maqomayev, Qara Qarayev, Fikrət Əmirov, Arif Mälikow.

He conducted the orchestra with Sviatoslav Richter, Heinrich Neuhaus, David Oistrakh and Mstislav Rostropovich.
