Nizhny Bestyakh

Nizhny Bestjach (Russian Нижний Бестях, Yakut Аллараа Бэстээх ) is an urban-type settlement on the east bank of the Lena in the Russian republic of Sakha.

Nizhny Bestjach has 3518 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010 ), since 2007 has been the administrative center of Ulus - Megino Kangalasski and is located on the highway M56 " Lena " / " Kolyma ". A railway line to Nizhny Bestjach, the Amur - Yakutian highway that ends until further notice here, was completed in November 2011.
