NK Bela krajina

NK Bela Krajina is a Slovenian club from Črnomelj in southern Slovenia. The club currently plays in the second Slovenian League, the Druga Slovenska Nogometna league. The club colors are blue and white.

History

The club was founded in 1926 and played after the Second World War Yugoslav times in the SLN, then a regional minor league of the Yugoslav football system.

In the season 2003/ 04 Bela Krajina occupied the second place in the 2nd SNL and failed in the relegation game to Slovenia's highest class first with 0:0 and 1:1 on NK Drava Ptuj. The team still went on because of the withdrawal of three teams. In the season premiere Bela Krajina occupied in the twelve league tenth. In the season 2005/ 06 the team was second to last in the now discharged with ten teams league and had to go to the play-offs. There, the team kept against ND dravinjska with 2:2 and 0:0 on the away goals rule the upper hand.
