NK Junak Sinj

NK Junak is a Croatian football club from the city of Sinj. He currently plays in the second Croatian league.


The club was founded on 18 July 1916 in 1971 managed under game tert Rainer Mirko Jozić with the rise in the second Yugoslav league in the biggest success of the club in the former Yugoslavia. With the establishment of the first independent HNL in Croatia Junak Sinj received a starting spot in the second HNL. After the championship in the South squadron succeeded in 1996, the rise in the first HNL "B". After several years in the third division of the association received in 2008 in third place of the South squadron launch permissions for the 2nd HNL because the first place winner received a license and had the runner- not requested.
