NK Orijent
NK Orijent Rijeka is a Croatian football club from Susak, one in the east, the suburb of the Croatian city of Rijeka.
History
The club was founded in 1919. After the country's independence from Yugoslavia, the club played since 1992 in the second division. The 1992/93 season was finished in the second division south seventh, a year later succeeded with only one defeat this season, the runner-up with a point behind Neretva Metković.
1994/95 Orijent played in the second division West and managed here again the runner-up, but this time was the behind champions NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac 15 points. Since the association established a two-pronged first league, the club was promoted to the league 1.B. There, the team was again runner-up, NK Zadar had four points clear. Thus the club qualified for the league 1.A. However, the club finished the 1996/97 season with seven points adrift of the space occupied by Cibalia Vinkovci relegation place and had a table Fourteenth the upper house to leave.
In the second League West the team was third in the table, reaching the newly created single-track second division. The league was founded in 1999 just managed by a single point on Imotska Krajina so. In the following years the club seats occupied in the midfield. 2003 landed the team after the regular season in the second half of the table and thus played in the relegation group, but was able to create in second in the league there. The 2003/04 season ended Orijent as Table and got down in the third division.
In the third League West in 2005 was managed as a Third to last just avoiding relegation. The following season, managed fourth place.
