NK Vrapče

NK Vrapče Zagreb is a Croatian football club based in the Zagreb district Podsused - Vrapče.

History

Founded in 1938 under the name NK Vrapče Zagreb, the club merged after interim renamed NK Mladost due to financial difficulties in 1966 with NK Zagreb Sparta. After renaming the new association in 1977 in Sparta Elektra and simplifying internal squabbles, in 1979 the re-establishment as Sportsko Društvo Vrapče (German Sport camaraderie Vrapče ) with the departments football, handball, karate, table tennis and shooting. Since then, there was a fundamental renewal of the association and the infrastructure.

After the secession of Croatia from Yugoslavia Vrapče Zagreb took in the season 1992/93 for the first time in the game operating the second highest league in the country in part: After the descent to the fourth division in the second half of the 1990s succeeded in 2002, the rise in the third league. First, the mid- season associated Vrapče Zagreb has been part of the restructuring of the third division in the year 2006 squadron West.
