NMBS/SNCB Class 41

The number 41 of the Belgian State Railways ( NMBS / SNCB) is a series of 120 km / h fast two -car diesel train units.

It is mainly used in intra- Belgian fast train service (IC and IR) and regional trains in the Ardennes, and around Ghent and is currently (as of 2007) the only diesel vehicle for passenger transport the NMBS / SNCB.

The trainsets were built in the period from 2000 to 2002 by Alstom.

On 18 and 19 May 2007 burned in Berchem and in Geel of two motor cars.
