No Control (Bad Religion album)

No Control is the fourth album by the Californian punk rock band Bad Religion and was released in November 1989 on Epitaph Records.

The album was recorded in June 1989 in the recording studio Westbeach Recorders in Hollywood. During the recording of the later single 21st Century (Digital Boy) is developed, which first appeared on the second album Against The Grain. Stylistically, the album is closer to the hardcore punk -oriented and faster than its predecessor.

With Big Bang, You two tracks on the album for different parts of the video game series, Tony Hawk's Skateboarding were used as the soundtrack.

Reviews

The album is considered in retrospect as one of the best releases of the band. So wrote laut.de that it " seamlessly with the quality " of its predecessor anknüpfe Suffer, which " has led the way for everything that follows to melodic punk rock. " In Allmusic the album also received a positive rating of 4.5 of 5 possible points.
