No Strings Attached – Figurentheater & mehr

No Strings Attached - puppet theater & more ( official spelling: no strings attached ) is a festival in Mainz for outstanding drama forms. It is organized by the Cultural Summer of Rhineland-Palatinate in Mainz Chamber games, the KUZ and other extraordinary places. It took place annually in September since 1998. By 2005, No Strings Attached was still called " puppet theater festival ". From 2011 it will take place in two annual basis in May.

The focus of the festival often depends on the culture Summer motto. Despite the small size of only about five to eight pieces per year, the festival often shows well-known international puppet theater.

In addition to the classical open and closed forms of play of puppet theater and shadow play, station, object, or visual theater find a place, sometimes in public places and in unusual places.
