No Substance

No Substance is the tenth studio album by the punk band Bad Religion and also the second album after the departure of guitarist and founding member Brett Gurewitz Mitsongwriters. The album was, like the previous one, texted jointly by the band and recorded. The style of the album is much more pop than its predecessor, and is therefore often " worst ever album of the band " regarded by fans. The band was accused after release of the album that the typical Bad Religion dynamism and aggressiveness missing and the melodies would increasingly develop in the direction of catchy pop songs.

Campino, singer of the German punk band Die Toten Hosen, has a guest appearance on the album. He sings Raise Your Voice along with Greg Graffin.

In Germany, the album was released by the record company Dragnet Records, a sub- label of Epic Records, and thus at Sony Music Entertainment.
