No. 303 Polish Fighter Squadron

The Dywizjon 303 (English Polish RAF Fighter Squadron 303, poln: 303 Dywizjon Myśliwski ". Warszawski in Tadeusza Kościuszko ", dt 303 squadron ) was a Polish fighter squadron of the Royal Air Force in World War II. It has been established on the basis of a military agreement between the Polish government in exile and the British government on August 2, 1940 in the UK. The squadron was under the allied associations during the Battle of Britain the highest firing rate of the German aircraft ( in the period from September to October 1940).

When landing Operation Jubilee in August 1942, the unit also had the highest firing rate. In December 1946, the squadron was disbanded.
