Nobuhito, Prince Takamatsu

Nobuhito Prince Takamatsu (Japanese高 松 宫 宣仁 亲王Takamatsu -no- miya Nobuhito - shinnō, * January 3, 1905; † 3 February 1987) was the third son of Emperor Taishō ( Yoshihito ) and Empress Teimei and the younger brother of the Emperor Shōwa ( Hirohito ).

He was head of the Prince House ( shinnōke ) Takamatsu -no- miya (formerly Arisugawa -no- miya ), one of the four imperial branch families were entitled to inherit the Chrysanthemum Throne, in the case of a missing successor of the main house.
