Nobuyoshi Tamura

Nobuyoshi Tamura (Japanese田村 信 喜, Tamura Nobuyoshi, born March 2, 1933, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, † July 9, 2010 in Bras, France ) was a senior Japanese aikido teacher who worked with a focus on France. He started very young with martial arts training. He joined the Aikikai Hombu Dojo about 1953 as Uchi Deshi - and soon became one of the favorite student of Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido.

Tamura devoted himself since 1964, the spread of Aikido in France and Europe. He was winner of the 8th Dan Aikikai of Tokyo. In Germany is mainly the FDAV ( Free German Aikido Association ) based on Tamura.
