Noel Vasquez

Noel Vásquez (born 19 October 1976) is a Venezuelan racing driver.

Career

Noel Vasquez won the 2000 two stages at the Vuelta al Táchira and so could the Appreciation decide for themselves. The next year he won there again a stage and the overall standings and in 2002 he was successful in two sections. In the 2007 season Vásquez won a stage in the Clasico Pedro Infante and was also the first in the overall standings. He also won the one-day races Juegos del Alba. 2008 Vásquez regained a portion at the Vuelta al Táchira and he became the first Venezuelan champion in the road race.

In the Vuelta a Guatemala Vásquez was tested positive for doping, suspended for four years, and subject to a fine.
