Noen Kham District

Amphoe Noen Kham ( Thai: อำเภอ เนิน ขาม ) is a district ( Amphoe ) in the southwestern part of the province ( Changwat ) Chainat. The Chainat Province is located in the northern part of the central region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Hankha the province of Chainat, the Amphoe Bang Nang Buat Doem and Dan Chang of Suphanburi Province and Amphoe Ban Rai of Uthai Thani province.

History

The county Noen Kham was on 1 July 1997 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the two Tambon Noen Kham and Kabok Tia were separated from Amphoe Hankha.

On 15 May 2007, the Thai government had decided to bring all 81 King Amphoe "normal" in the Amphoe status to simplify administration. With the publication in the Royal Gazette " Issue 124 chapter 46" of 24 August 2007, this decision officially entered into force.

Management

Amphoe Noen Kham ( tambon) divided into three communities, which in turn in 48 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

Noen Kham ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เนิน ขาม ) is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district. It consists of the entire Tambon Noen Kham.

In the district there are also two administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
